Student Portfolios and Senior Projects. All undergraduate students from 2003 to 2016 were required to keep and maintain a student portfolio. These portfolios are the students evidence that they have met each of the seven Hansen Proficiencies which the Department of Economics believes is necessary for the successful econmics graduate. All economic student graduates from 2006 to 2018 must complete a Senior Year research paper as evidence of their ability to do analysis and to create new knowledge.
